Congresswoman Miller Announces $800,000 Grant to Expand SustainU Clothing

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Miller (WV-3) announced today a grant from the Department of Health and Human Services to the Coalfield Development Corporation totaling $800,000 for the expansion of SustainU clothing company.

Congresswoman Miller said, "Creating new jobs, diversifying our economy, and growing small businesses is why you sent me to Washington. I am happy to secure this funding that will benefit Southern West Virginia."

SustainU is a clothing company owned by the Coalfield Development Corporation, an organization dedicated to helping rebuild the Appalachian economy. New manufacturing jobs will be created as a result of the expansion.
