Congresswoman Miller Announces $1.6 Million Grant for Public Housing

WASHINGTON D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced a grant of $1,682,372 from the Department of Housing and Urban Development to various housing authorities in West Virginia. These funds are to be used to support public housing agencies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Full details are below.

"During these uncertain times, we must all come together to bring our great state through this public health crisis," said Congresswoman Miller. "I am grateful to see another wave of funding come home to West Virginia to ensure our public housing facilities have the resources they need to provide safe and healthy housing options to members of our community."

This funds will be used for the Housing Choice Voucher program and will support or maintain the health and safety of 2 million-low income residents and costs related to retention and support of owners.
