Congresswoman Miller Announces $237,693 Grant to Protect Clean Air

Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced today a grant of $237,693 from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection to support their Air Pollution Control Program.
Congresswoman Miller said, "Our state's natural beauty is our best commodity and I am pleased to see the EPA putting an emphasis on that. Together we can continue to make West Virginia a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family."
The funds will be used to assist efforts to execute air pollution control programs statewide. The program works to research and maintain air pollution levels at regulation standards, with the goal to improve and maintain West Virginia's air quality.
