July 9, 2020

WASHINGTON D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced today three grants from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to support Health Care Center Program Look-Alikes in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding will be used to expand testing capabilities and purchase personal protective equipment. HRSA will also be awarding funds to support the COVID-19 response of Health Center Controlled Networks (HCCNs). The full breakdown of funding is below.

"It is absolutely critical that we continue to expand COVID-19 testing capabilities and provide protection equipment for our first responders on the front line," said Congresswoman Miller. "These healthcare centers were not eligible to receive funding from the initial CARES Act, so we moved swiftly to make this support available. I am proud to have helped secure these grants, and we will continue to work around the clock to make sure our communities have the resources they need to heal from this pandemic."
