Congresswoman Miller Announces $4.4 Million in COVID-19 Relief Funding

May 7, 2020

WASHINGTON D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) today announced that the Department of Justice is granting $4,410,710 to the West Virginia Division of Administrative Services, Justice and Community Services. This funding is part of the FY2020 Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) to states nationwide. It is a direct result of the previously passed CARES Act.

"We are thankful for the Department of Justice's investment to help the people of West Virginia," said Congresswoman Miller. "It is critical that the federal government supports and empowers local communities to provide relief as we recover from this public health emergency."

This grant will be used by localities to prepare, prevent, and respond to the Coronavirus. A full break down of the funding is available here.
