Congresswoman Miller Announces FEMA Grant to Rebuild Three Schools Destroyed by 2016 Floods

WASHINGTON D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced today a grant of $131,671,998.45 from the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to the West Virginia School Building Authority. The funding will be used to rebuild Richwood Middle School, Richwood High School, and Summersville Middle School which were damaged following severe flooding.
"As we continue to rebuild after the devastation of the 2016 flooding, it is crucial that our children have the safest and most innovative schools to learn in each day," said Congresswoman Miller. "This funding will ensure that the future generation of West Virginia has access to quality education to receive the tools needed for a successful future."
