Congresswoman Miller Announces Grant for Mason Volunteer Fire Department

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced today an Assistance to Firefighters Grant worth $78,761.90 from the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to the Mason Volunteer Fire Department.

"Our brave firefighters are on the frontlines each day, selflessly protecting our communities from disaster," said Congresswoman Miller. "I am grateful to FEMA for investing this funding into the safety and security of Southern West Virginia. Our first responders deserve all the tools and resources they need to keep our families, homes, and businesses safe."

This grant will be used to fund the operations and safety precautions of the department.
