Congresswoman Miller Announces Grant to Prevent Substance Abuse

WASHINGTON D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced today a Mental Health & Substance Abuse Service Grant worth $299,655 from the Department of Health and Human Services to Marshall University for The WV Collegiate Strategic Prevention Framework Partnership's For Success Initiative.
"West Virginia is ground zero for the tragic opioid epidemic," said Congresswoman Miller. "Educating our children and providing them with the resources they need to make responsible decisions related to drugs and alcohol will play an important role in ending this crisis once and for all. Thank you to the Department of Health and Human Services and Marshall University, for teaming up to help our community combat underage drinking and substance abuse."
