WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) today joined House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), WHIP Steve Scalise (R-LA), Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY), and her House Republican colleagues to unveil the Commitment to America, a policy agenda designed to build An Economy That's Strong, A Nation That's Safe, A Future That's Built on Freedom, and A Government That's Accountable.
“Our country is in crisis because of Democrats in the White House and Congress,” said Congresswoman Miller. “The open southern border has allowed criminals and deadly drugs like fentanyl to pour into our communities. Inflation is at a 40-year high and we are energy dependent. As one of the top energy-producing states, West Virginia knows all too well how Democrats’ anti-energy agenda has crippled our economy, killed jobs, and jeopardized our national security. President Biden and Washington liberals have caused these problems, but Republicans will fix them. The House GOP’s Commitment to America will get our country back on track.”
