Congresswoman Miller Visits Alpha Technologies Global Data Center
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) today visited the Alpha Technologies Global Data Center in South Charleston. Alpha Technologies operates throughout West Virginia, serving as a business technology company that offers an array of services. Since its founding in 2000, Alpha Technologies has functioned as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business.

Doug Tate, President and CEO of Alpha Technologies emphasized his appreciation to Congresswoman Miller for her visit to their facility today and noted that WV is very fortunate to have such active federal representation as it relates to technology. Tate went on to say “West Virginia is building something very special and we’re excited to be part of this process and future economy. Our data center serves as a location where businesses and organizations choose to store their sensitive data”. Tate shared that October is Cybersecurity awareness month and Congresswoman Miller shared her appreciation that Alpha is focused on building a safe environment for businesses to operate digitally.
