Following the tour, Congresswoman Miller discussed the community's tourism opportunities, education system, and need for broadband connectivity. Attendees included Sam Felton, Mayor of Marlinton; Terrence Beam, Superintendent of Pocahontas County Schools; and Kristen Doss, Snowshoe Foundation Executive Director, among others; with Michael Holstine, of Green Bank Observatory, moderating.

"I also appreciated the opportunity to speak with leaders from Pocahontas County to learn how we can improve our community. Together we can promote all that this area has to offer, and make it an even better place to live, work, and raise a family."
