WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) gave opening remarks at the Small Farms Conference in Charleston, West Virginia and highlighted her Farm Bill priorities in Congress. Congresswoman Miller also spoke at the ribbon cutting ceremony for R.J. Corman’s new rail service center in Prichard, West Virginia.

“As a bison farmer myself, I was excited to be among my fellow West Virginia farmers during today’s Small Farms Conference. I encouraged our farmers to use this time to learn from each other and share experiences to make sure their farms are set up for economic success. I also shared my Farm Bill priorities that I am working on in Congress that will be fiscally responsible and protect our small farms. I had a great time attending and speaking at the ribbon cutting ceremony for R.J Corman’s new train car repair hub in Prichard. West Virginia’s economy is growing and our supply chain is running because of companies like R.J. Corman that are providing jobs in our communities to ensure the safe transportation of American goods. I was happy to be a part of this momentous day,” said Congresswoman Miller.
