Miller Speaks at Wirt County High School, Courthouse, and Tours Minnie Hamilton Healthcare Center
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Yesterday, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) toured Wirt County High School and hosted a question-and-answer session with students at a full school assembly on her priorities and time in Congress. Following the assembly, Congresswoman Miller met with the Wirt County Courthouse to discuss new policy priorities in the House of Representatives. Congresswoman Miller concluded her visit by touring the newly improved facility of the Minnie Hamilton Healthcare Center in Calhoun County.
“I enjoyed my visit and meetings with the people of Wirt and Calhoun Counties today,” said Congresswoman Miller. “What a joy it was to speak with the students at the Wirt County High School in a Q&A and encourage them to volunteer in their local communities. They are the future of West Virginia. While in Wirt, I also had a great discussion with Courthouse officials about the new developments and resources they need for their new emergency management system. Lastly, I was glad to see the new improvements to the Minnie Hamilton Healthcare Center and am excited for their success as they take care of the people in Calhoun County.”
