Miller Statement on the Passage of the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act in the Ways and Means Committee
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) released the following statement on the passage of the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act in the Ways and Means Committee.
The Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act is a bipartisan, bicameral tax package that enhances the financial security of working families, encourages pro-growth economic policies, and strengthens businesses and communities across the United States.
“The passage of The Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act in the Ways and Means Committee shows Americans that Republicans and Democrats alike support tax priorities that stimulate the United States’ economic growth,” said Congresswoman Miller. “With this legislation, we are championing American businesses that increase competition against China while we cut wasteful spending. These policies will bolster working families and small businesses and I look forward to the passage of the bill in the House of Representatives and the Senate. It’s long past time for Congress to work for the American people.”
