WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) toured West Virginia’s first recovery High School, Bridge to Hope Academy, which is scheduled to open in 2024 as a micro-school geared towards meeting the needs of students recovering from substance abuse disorder. Congresswoman Miller also visited Roane General Hospital in Spencer, West Virginia and joined WVRC 104.7 FM for an interview segment on her visit and healthcare priorities in Congress. “I am excited to see the great impact Bridge to Hope Academy will have on educating students and supporting them during their journey to recovery. I have no doubt this micro-school will provide a strong foundation for students and their future success. I was also glad to see firsthand Roane General Hospital’s dedication to providing the highest quality of health care services to patients in their community. I will continue working on legislation that will support hospitals as they care for and improve the health of West Virginians,” said Congresswoman Miller.
