WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) spoke at the ribbon cutting ceremony for West Virginia University (WVU) Tech’s new Rahall Congressional Archives House, attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for the White Oak Waterline Extension Project in White Oak, West Virginia, and visited the Fresenius Kidney Care Appalachian Dialysis Clinic in Beckley, West Virginia.
“What a momentous day for West Virginia,” said Congresswoman Miller. “I was honored to speak at West Virginia University’s Rahall Congressional Archives House ribbon cutting ceremony and celebrate former Congressman Rahall’s 38-year legacy in Congress. I also had the pleasure of cutting the ribbon for the White Oak Waterline Extension Project that will provide clean, running water to the most rural and southern communities of our state. Working on policies that help kidney disease patients receive affordable treatment is one of my priorities in Congress, so I was grateful to visit Fresenius Kidney Care Appalachian Dialysis Clinic that focuses on the wellbeing of kidney disease patients.”
