VIDEO: Miller Speaks at Pro-Life Press Conference

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) spoke at a press conference hosted by the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus. Congresswoman Miller highlighted the Pregnancy Center Support Act which she introduced today with Senator Cindy Hyde Smith (R-MS).

"I am a wife, I'm a mother, and I'm a grandmother of seven and I had the honor of feeling life quicken in my womb.

It’s amazing how many lives have been positively impacted by the Roe v. Wade decision, but we know the fight for life is not over. 

Pregnancy Resource Centers do invaluable work to help bring babies to term. They help women and families with unexpected or difficulty pregnancy circumstances through services and resources at no cost — I’ve seen the work they do in my hometown of Huntington and it’s a blessing. 

Today, I introduced the Pregnancy Center Support Act with Senator Hyde Smith to make sure that individuals who contribute to these centers receive a tax credit for doing so. This will ensure organizations can continue to provide women and families the resources they need.

I will continue fighting for life in Congress and supporting the wonderful work of volunteers at Pregnancy Resource Centers any way I can."
