Congresswoman Miller Announces $400,000 Grant from EPA

Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced, today, a grant of $406, 270 from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to the West Virginia Department of Agriculture for the operation of its Pesticides Program. These funds will carry out enforcement of pesticide regulations as well as other programs relative to certification and training for pesticide applicators, worker protection, maintaining water quality, and protecting endangered species.

Congresswoman Miller said, "Our outdoors and open spaces are what make West Virginia so wonderful. We must ensure our families, friends, and visitors are welcomed to a clean and safe environment year-round. Thank you to the EPA for their dedication and support."
