Congresswoman Miller Applauds President Trump’s Immigration Plan

Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) released the following statement shortly after President Trump addressed the nation regarding border security and the government shutdown:

"I applaud President Trump for his leadership and commitment to border security by proposing a comprehensive plan that will put us on the path to long-lasting immigration reform. We are facing a humanitarian and security crisis on our southern border, and unchecked illegal immigration is bringing drugs, terrorism, human trafficking, and crime into our country. America can no longer afford inaction. We have the opportunity to enact real effective change to our broken immigration system and end the government shutdown, and now is the time to act."
