Congresswoman Miller Selected for House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee
Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller has been selected to join the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee in the 116th Congress. As the only West Virginian on the committee, Miller will be vital in improving West Virginia’s roads, highways, bridges, and railways.
“We need strong roads and railways to transport our resources, connect our communities, and to strengthen our economy,” said Miller. “I look forward to working with my colleagues in both parties, as well as President Trump, to rebuild our country’s infrastructure.” Miller continued, “this is a tremendous opportunity to expand and complete our highway system in Southern West Virginia – the Coalfield Highway, King Coal Expressway, Route 2, and Route 10 – as well as improve rural broadband.”
Miller’s commitment to investing in rural infrastructure will create jobs, grow our economy, and ensure West Virginia continues to power the United States.
