This funding is a direct result of the $55.6 million in funding granted to the State of West Virginia from the Department of Transportation for COVID-19 response.

These Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act Airport Grants will provide relief to local airports who have lost revenue during the COVID-19 pandemic.
