This bill was introduced by Congressman Drew Ferguson (R-GA) and a companion bill was introduced by U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) in the Senate.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) and House Committee on Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) announced today that the Committee will hold a field hearing on the State of the American Economy: Appalachia. The hearing will take place on Monday, February 6, 2023, in Petersburg, West Virginia.

WASHINGTON D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) visited Raleigh County, West Virginia. While there, Congresswoman Miller visited the Beckley VA Medical Center and toured the new MRI radiology center. She also met with the veterans and health care staff to hear how she can best support them. Following the tour, Congresswoman Miller went to the Raleigh General Hospital where she toured the facility and had lunch with the senior leadership of the hospital.
