WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) introduced the Completing American Pipelines Act, which will ensure pipelines across the country, including the Mountain Valley Pipeline, are finished. Once completed, the Mountain Valley Pipeline would send natural gas from West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania to North Carolina and South Carolina.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) introduced an amendment to H.R. 1, The Lower Energy Costs Act, that will complete the Mountain Valley Pipeline. This amendment ensures the Mountain Valley Pipeline is completed and delivers natural gas from Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia to North Carolina and South Carolina.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – This past week, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) and a bipartisan delegation of Ways and Means Committee members visited Mexico, Ecuador, and Guyana. During this trip, the delegation met with government leaders to discuss the obligation to buy American made products under the US-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement (USMCA), highlight new trade opportunities between Ecuador and the United States, and to encourage new US-Guyana trade and energy relations.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Miller (R-WV) co-sponsored the Continuing Robust and Uninhibited Drilling and Exporting (CRUDE) Act which was introduced by Congressman Jodey Arrington (R-TX) in the House of Representatives. This bill will revise the authority of the President to impose restrictions on the export of crude oil from the United States.

During the hearing, Congresswoman Miller highlighted that since the Biden Administration entered the White House, calls for oversight hearings on trillions of dollars of deficit spending from Republicans have been ignored and rejected, leading to the greatest theft of taxpayer dollars in American history.

WASHINGTON, D.C. –  Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) traveled to Yukon, Oklahoma with the Ways and Means Committee to hear about the state of the economy in the heartland. In Yukon, Congresswoman Miller heard from small business owners and energy producers on how the inflationary policies coming out of Washington D.C. the past two years have caused increases in food prices, energy costs, and instability for small businesses.
