Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) joined all Ways and Means Republicans and U.S.  House Republican leadership in sending a letter to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) warning that the Biden-Harris administration’s collusion with foreign governments of the OECD would impose a global minimum tax on U.S. businesses.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller’s (R-WV) bill End Chinese Dominance of Electric Vehicles in America Act of 2024 passed the House of Representatives. Congresswoman Miller introduced this bill to tighten the Foreign Entity of Concern (FEOC) definition for the 30D electric vehicle (EV) tax credit and prohibit Chinese companies from accessing U.S. tax dollars.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller’s (R-WV) Saving Gig Economy Taxpayers Act, passed a vote of 22-16 through the Ways and Means Committee markup. Congresswoman Miller introduced this bill to restore the current 1099-K threshold level of $600 back to the original $20,000 by repealing the Democrats’ American Rescue Plan policy, which has placed an unfair tax hike upon Americans and gig workers. The bill is cosponsored by all Republicans on the Ways and Means Committee.
