Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Miller's (R-WV) Helping HANDS for Families Act, introduced with Congresswoman Judy Chu (D-CA), and Court Improvement Program Enhancement Act, introduced with Congresswoman Judy Chu (D-CA) and Congressman Blake Moore (R-UT), both passed the Ways and Means Committee during a markup on a larger package to reauthorize Title IV-B, a child welfare funding program.

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, Congresswoman Miller (R-WV) introduced the bipartisan Strengthening Cooperation and Security in the Middle East Act with Congressman Jimmy Panetta (D-CA), which would require a study on the benefits of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (CSIPA) and how the framework can be altered to entice other countries to join.

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, Congresswoman Miller (R-WV) visited ACE Adventure Resort to participate in a roundtable on tourism and discuss key issues in Congress. She later met with staff from New River Ranch Children’s Home and toured the campus. 

Congresswoman Miller gave remarks on tourism in West Virginia and listened to local officials and leaders on challenges and successes they are experiencing.

She also met with Williamson Memorial Hospital Representatives to discuss the renovations made to their new facility and later met with the Mingo County Redevelopment Authority to highlight a variety of new projects in the area.
