This bill will require mandatory data reports of Opportunity Zone investments to increase transparency on the streamlining reporting process on projects in rural communities.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) released the following statement regarding a lawsuit that was filed by the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia against West Virginia Secretary of State Mac Warner and President Donald Trump. This lawsuit aims to remove and disqualify President Trump from appearing on the 2024 presidential election ballot in West Virginia. 
 
West Virginia Republican Party Chairwoman, Elgine McArdle, filed a motion to intervene in the case.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) and Congresswoman Terri Sewell (D-AL) introduced the Increasing American Ferrosilicon Production Act in the House of Representatives, which will impose a tariff on Si 75% ferrosilicon, the last remaining Russian ferrosilicon product that is imported into the United States duty free. This bill will encourage U.S.-based producers of ferrosilicon to increase domestic production and create more jobs in steelmaking and other industries.
