WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced a grant of $5 million from the Appalachian Regional Commission and other federal and local sources for the Holly Gray Park Sanitary Sewer Extension project in Flatwoods-Canoe Run Public Service District. This project will provide new wastewater systems to 77 households in Braxton County, including an improved sewer access at the Braxton County Airport.

The Appalachian Caucus will focus on energy, healthcare, transportation, and broadband policies for people who live in Appalachia and surrounding regions.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Yesterday, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) joined the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on a targeted enforcement action operation ride-along in Cabell County. Congresswoman Miller accompanied officers in an observational capacity as law enforcement officers conducted the operation.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) joined Representatives Earl L. (Buddy) Carter (R-GA), Ann McLane Kuster (D-NH), and Terri Sewell (D-AL) in introducing the bipartisan Kidney Patient Access to Technologically Innovative and Essential Nephrological Treatments (PATIENT) Act. The Kidney PATIENT Act will provide access to critical care and affordable oral medicines for chronic kidney disease patients.

Heritage Farm Museum and Village is a recreated 19th century village which includes recreational activities such as an adventure park, museums, animal exhibits, and artisans.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) joined Congressman Randy Feenstra (R-IA) in introducing the Build the Wall and Fight Fentanyl Act. This legislation would equally dedicate assets confiscated from drug traffickers or other transnational criminal organizations by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to two separate funds to build the border wall and fight the fentanyl crisis impacting rural communities.
