The Clinical Laboratory Price Transparency Act passed as part of the larger Lower Costs, More Transparency Act, and ensures clinical labs publish their prices before administering treatment, giving patients a clear understanding on their health care costs.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) joined Congressman Mike Kelly (R-PA), Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), and 24 of their colleagues in introducing the Child Welfare Provider Inclusion Act. This legislation will protect faith-based child welfare providers from being discriminated against for acting in accordance with their religious beliefs. It will also prohibit federal, state, and local government agencies that receive federal adoption assistance funding from holding child welfare service providers religious beliefs against them.
