Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) toured the YMCA of Southern West Virginia in Beckley to see the newly completed renovations and speak with the CEO about plans for additional building.

Congresswoman Miller met with Jay Rist, the CEO of the YMCA of Southern West Virginia, to discuss how they have partnered with West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech) to provide activities for the Beckley community and plans to add a section onto their building to increase space for YMCA customers and children.

Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) joined Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) and 58 of her Republican colleagues in introducing the Iranian Terror Prevention Act. This legislation was introduced to fully sanction and designate 11 Iranian organizations as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs).

Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) introduced the Improving Access to Home Dialysis Act. This legislation aims to increase access to home dialysis by providing trained, professional staff assistance to patients in the home and ensuring that all patients are given the education and support they need to utilize this modality if they so choose. Representatives Marilyn Strickland (D-WA), Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA), and Earl Blumenauer (D-OR) joined the Congresswoman in introducing the legislation.
