WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) secured a total of $11,823,000 worth of funding for a variety of projects around West Virginia. Thirteen out of the fifteen Community Project Funding requests Congresswoman Miller submitted passed the House of Representatives, and funding will be available for projects to access once the Senate passes and President Joe Biden signs the Consolidation Appropriations Act of FY24 into law.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) and 7 of her colleagues sent a bipartisan letter to the leadership of the House of Representatives and Senate. The bipartisan group requested that the Fiscal Year 2024 Energy and Water Appropriations Act include language to prohibit funds from being used to change the standards, permitting, or approval procedures for the export of liquefied natural gas (LNG).

 WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the Congressional Coal Caucus Co-Chairs Representatives Carol Miller (R-WV), Harriet Hageman (R-WY), Morgan Griffith (R-VA), and Dan Meuser (R-PA) commended the ruling from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals that vacated a prior ruling from the district court which led to a nationwide injunction against all federal coal leases. These leases were unlawfully blocked until the Bureau of Land Management underwent a redundant environmental impact review.
