The grant will be used to improve the runway safety area and keep the airport in compliance with current federal and state aviation standards.

The Valley Health serves West Virginians of the Third Congressional District by providing quality health care and access to health professionals that every American deserves. I am happy to see this funding go to such a great cause."

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Miller (WV-3) announced today a grant of $1, 284,283.64 from the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to the West Virginia Division of Highways. This federal funding was allocated as a result of significant flooding in western counties in the Third Congressional District that took place in February 2018.
