Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Miller (WV-3) announced today a grant of $4,736,176 from the Department of Health and Human Services to the Coalfield Community Action Partnership for the funding of the Head Start Programs in West Virginia.
Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Miller (WV-3) announced today a grant of $7,283,620 from the Department of Health and Human Services to the Valley Health Systems in Huntington, West Virginia.
Congresswoman Miller said, "I am thrilled to see this money coming home to our community of West Virginia. The Valley Health serves West Virginians of the Third Congressional District by providing quality health care and access to health professionals that every American deserves. I am happy to see this funding go to such a great cause."
Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Miller (WV-3) announced today a grant of $1, 284,283.64 from the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to the West Virginia Division of Highways. This federal funding was allocated as a result of significant flooding in western counties in the Third Congressional District that took place in February 2018.
Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced a Grant of $2,319,878 to the Bluestone Health Association in Princeton, West Virginia. The funds will be used to continue the normal operations of the center that serves 15,000+ people in and around Mercer County.
Congresswoman Miler said, "This is fantastic news for Mercer County and the Bluestone Health Center. This center provides countless services to the people of Southern West Virginia and works hard to ensure good healthcare for all its patients."

At the mobile office locations, members of Congresswoman Millers' staff will be available to help Third District residents who are having problems with federal agencies and programs. Constituents are encouraged to bring along documents they have received from federal agencies related to their issues.
