Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Miller (WV-3) announced today a grant from the Department of Health and Human Services to the Coalfield Development Corporation totaling $800,000 for the expansion of SustainU clothing company.

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Miller (WV-3) announced five Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grants (JAG) today from the U.S. Department of Justice, totaling $264,571, to the Third District of West Virginia. JAG grants are awarded to be used by state and local governments to help prevent and control crime based on the individual needs of the area. The full break down of the awarded funds is below.
Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Miller (WV-3) announced today a $2,000,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice to LifeHouse, Inc. for the Realizing Recovery and Reentry Program.

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Miller (WV-3) announced today a grant from the National Science Foundation to Concord University for the "EarthCube Data Capabilities: Collaborative Proposal: Reducing Time-To-Science in the Earth Sciences: Annotations to foster convergence, inclusion, and credit," project totaling $149,437.
Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced today two grants from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The first, to the Mercer County Airport Authority for the installation of fencing at the Mercer County Airport, totaling $828,528. The second, worth $243,663, to the Mingo County Airport Authority to rehabilitate the runway at the Appalachian Regional Airport.

Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced today an Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) of $163,222 from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to the Bluefield Fire Department.
