At the mobile office locations, members of Congresswoman Miller's staff will be available to help Third District residents who are having problems with federal agencies and programs. Constituents are encouraged to bring along documents they have received from federal agencies related to their issues.

Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced today a grant of $5,432,056 from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to expand rural broadband across West Virginia. The funds will be distributed over 10 years to more than 7,057 homes and businesses. This is the eighth wave of the Connect America Fund Phase II, that is providing funding to 21 states total. Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced today a Disaster Recovery National Dislocated Worker Grant of $866,675 from the Department of Labor to Workforce West Virginia. The funds will be used for the disaster relief recovery efforts needed in response to the heavy rainfall, flooding, and wind in February 2018. This grant is the final installment of a $2,500,000 grant authorized in September 2018.

Washington D.C. – Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 3362, the Small Airport Mothers' Room Act of 2019, a bipartisan bill introduced by Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV).

The legislation ensures that all small hub airports will provide private mothers' rooms, including nursing and changing stations, in accordance with current FAA requirements on medium and large hub airports, at no additional cost to taxpayers.

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Miller (WV-3) today toured the Green Bank Observatory and hosted a roundtable discussion with leaders from Pocahontas County.

On the tour, Congresswoman Miller learned about the Green Bank Observatory's advancements in American radio astronomy and viewed the Robert C. Byrd Green Bank telescope, which is the largest fully steerable radio telescope in the world.

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (WV-3) announced today an Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grant of $2,300,000 from the Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration to the Greenbrier Valley Airport. The funds will be used to reconstruct taxiway lighting.

Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) announced today a grant, totaling $3,684,000, and a loan, totaling $33,834,000, from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to the City of Lewisburg. This Rural Development investment will be used to improve the city's water systems and benefit 4,194 residential customers, 611 commercial customers, and 104 public authority and industrial users.
